On August 1, 2011, Showcase announced on its Lost Girl On Showcase Facebook page that Season 1 had become available for purchase and download from iTunes Canada.^[1] On October 7, 2011, the show announced on its official Lost Girl TV Show Facebook page that episodes, podcast, and "Fae Yourself " ^[2] iPhone app were available from iTunes Canada.^[3]

In North America, single episodes and entire seasons later became available on iTunes Store and video on demand for purchase or rental from Amazon Video.

Season 1 became available on Netflix on December 13, 2012;^[4] followed by Season 2 on December 20, 2012;^[5] Season 3 on December 14, 2013;^[6] Season 4 on July 24, 2014;^[7] and Season 5 on April 17, 2016.^[8]

In the United Kingdom (UK and Ireland), Seasons 1, 2 and 3 became available for streaming on Netflix UK on August 15, 2013;^[9]^[10] and Season 4 on August 16, 2014.^[11]^[12]

Lost Girl became available on Sony Entertainment Network's PlayStation Store in the United States,^[13] and the United Kingdom.^[14]

DVD and Blu-ray

Season 1

November 23, 2011: Released on DVD in Region 4, Australia, by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.^[15]
April 24, 2012: In Canada, the region-free DVD was released by eOne Entertainment.^[16]
October 23, 2012: In the United States, Giant Ape Media, a subsidiary of FUNimation Entertainment, released the DVD and Blu-ray for Region 1, with an announcement that they contained "uncut episodes not seen on Syfy."^[17]^[18]
February 25, 2013: In Region 2, United Kingdom (UK and Ireland), the DVD was released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Season 2

November 13, 2012: In Canada (Region 1), the DVD and Blu-ray was released by Berkshire Axis Media.^[19]
November 13, 2012: In the United States (Region 1), Giant Ape Media released the DVD and Blu-ray.^[20]^[21]
September 9, 2013: In Region 2, United Kingdom (UK and Ireland), the DVD was released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.^[22]
September 19, 2013: In Region 4, Australia, Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the DVD.^[23]

Season 3

November 19, 2013: In Region 1, for Canada and United States, the DVD and Blu-ray was released by Giant Ape Media.^[24]^[25]
December 5, 2013: In Region 4, Australia, Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the DVD.^[26]
March 3, 2014: In Region 2, United Kingdom (UK and Ireland), the DVD was released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.^[27]

Season 4

May 19, 2014: In Region 2, United Kingdom (UK and Ireland), the DVD was released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.^[28]
June 24, 2014: In Region 1, Canada and United States, Giant Ape Media released the DVD and Blu-ray.^[29]^[30]
July 16, 2015: In Region 4, Australia, the DVD was released by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.^[31]

Season 5

January 25, 2016: In Region 2, United Kingdom (UK and Ireland), the DVD was released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment as "The Complete Final Season".^[32]
February 11, 2016: In Region 4, Australia, Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the DVD as "The Complete Fifth Season".^[33]
March 22, 2016: In Region 1, Canada and United States, the DVD and Blu-ray was released by Giant Ape Media. Instead of "Season 5 Parts 1 and 2" (as announced and broadcast on Showcase, Syfy (U.S.), and Syfy (U.K.)) the product was subtitled "The Final Chapters | Seasons Five & Six" ^[34] (even though there was no "Season Six").
