Lost Girl: The Interactive Motion Comic
Chapter 1: Feed
Forest Games
Published March 3, 2012

Bo struggles for survival and to discover her place in the world, while a mysterious force tracks her trail.

This series features motion comics with interactive elements, such as branching storylines and mini-games. Each chapter has its special interaction built right into the player. In Chapter One, the interaction begins at 1:25, with options to showcase that Bo's choices are in fact quite limited.

In chapter one, my particular role was to replace an early prototype of this code with a more robust version. In the other chapters, I created all the custom Flash players for each interactive motion comic, and even lent a hand in designing the creative for the interactive portions.

This project was created by Bedlam Games for the Lost Girl television program. This six-chapter series of interactive motion comics, and the webpage, was nominated for a 2011 Gemini in the category "Best Cross-Platform Project - Fiction." My role as a consultant was to create the webpage and interactive motion comics.
