Judging from the fact that Serena, a Fire Fae and new Light Fae Head of Security for The Ash, was expected to destroy Bo's house, it can be presumed that Fire Fae have extremely powerful fire generation and manipulation abilities.

The Syfy website lists "Salamander" as "incombustible fire beings with temperamental, wrathful dispositions"; however, this name was not used in the episode.
