The Leshii is a Light Fae woodland spirit that inhabits Basque pastoral areas, meadows, and forests.

Character arc

Flora Blooms was a Leshii and she longed to return to her tree of Gernika and her Basque forest.

It is unknown what powers the Leshii has, but Prince Felipe III told Flora that he had come far to see her petals in bloom.

• In La Fae Époque, the role of Flora Blooms is played by Zoie Palmer.

• The Leshy is known by a variety of names and spellings including Lesiy, Leshii, Leszi, Lesovik. He is a male woodland spirit in Slavic mythology who protects wild animals and birds in the forest and tells them when to migrate. He can shapeshift into many different forms. As a human, he looks like a peasant with glowing eyes, and his shoes are on backwards. There are also "leshachikha/leszachka" (wives of the leshak) and "leshonky" (children of the leszy). He is roughly analogous to the Woodwose of Western Europe and the Basajaun of the Basque Country.

• Guernica, or Gernika is a town in the province of Biscay, in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, Spain. Gernika is best known to those residing outside the Basque region as the scene of the April 26, 1937, Bombing of Guernica, one of the first aerial bombings by Nazi Germany's Luftwaffe. It inspired the painting Guernica by Pablo Picasso.
